PROMOTERS of a wrestling match featuring Mark Andrews in Devizes on Saturday are worried that fans will think the event is cancelled after publicity about a row over dwarf competitors.
The town council has told the Dwarfanators their bouts in October have been cancelled but this will have no affect on the CSF wrestling due to take place in the Corn Exchange on Saturday.
A spokesman said: "I’ve been hosting my events here for 20 years. This other event has caused a lot of confusion, people think this weekends event is cancelled and I’ve had people asking for refunds.
"My event features WWE NXT superstar Mark Andrews, who is making his first appearance here.
"We have a huge line up, featuring top international names, some of which are members of WWE UK, such as Tiger Ali, Eddie Ryan, Big Grizzly and local star Kian Enderby."
Saturday Night Slam will start at 6pm with tickets priced at £11 available from Devizes Books or online at bit.ly/CSFDevizes
