ELDENE: A fourth teenager has been arrested on suspicion of GBH after a stabbing on Kennedy Drive, Eldene.
The 18-year-old man was arrested earlier this morning. He remains in custody at Gablecross Police Station.
Three other teenagers have been released under investigation.
All four men have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
It follows an assault in Eldene on Tuesday afternoon that saw a 20-year-old man stabbed in the chest. The victim, who was taken to Great Western Hospital, also injured his head in the attack.
Det Insp Helen Jacobs of Swindon CID said in the wake of the stabbing: "We believe this to be an isolated incident with no wider risk to the public. I would encourage anyone who saw the victim being assaulted or people running from the scene to speak to my team or call 101 with any information.”
