Man faces sex abuse trial

A MAN who is accused of sexually abusing two girls and a boy is to face trial by jury.
Dean Faulkner is said to have raped the girls when they were under the age of 16 as well as carrying out other sex assaults on them.
The 45-year-old, who is said to have carried out much of the abuse in Royal Wootton Bassett, is also accused of molested a young boy before he turned 16.
All of the alleged offences are said to have taken place over a twelve year period between 1997 and 2009.
Faulkner, now of Colwyn Bay, Wales, pleaded not guilty to three counts of rape, three indecent assaults, two sexual assaults and two of sexual activity with a child.
He is said to have twice raped the first young girl between mid 1999 and mid 2001 when she was under the age of 16.
It is also alleged he carried out three sex assaults on the girl between 1997 and 2001 and mid 2001 and the end of 2002, when she was 16 and over.
He is then said to have raped the second girl in September 2008, when she was 15 years old, and sexually assaulting from 2004, when she was 11 and the end of 2008.
The final charge relates to the sexual assault of the male in the first few days of 2009.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to June 3 when he is to face trial by jury on the 10 charges.
He was released on bail to live at his address in north Wales and not to come to Wiltshire.
