A 20-year-old man was threatened with a knife in a daylight robbery in Gorse Hill yesterday.
The incident happened at approximately 2.20pm in Cricklade Road.
Two men threatened the victim with a knife before stealing his iPhone and running away from the scene.
The police helicopter and several police units were called to the scene, which was cordoned off until 4.40pm.
The man suffered minor injuries as a result of the robbery.
A 26-year-old man, of no fixed abode, has been arrested and charged with attempting to cause GBH and robbery. He appeared at North West Wiltshire Magistrates Court in Chippenham this morning.
Police are looking for information on the second suspect, who is described as a man in his early 20s.
