A SWINDON man appeared in court this morning charged with four counts of robbery in the space of five days.
Luke O'Brien, 24, of no fixed abode, is accused of robbing three businesses in the town - McDonalds on Great Western Way on May 9, the Co-Op store on Moredon Road on May 11 and the Juniper newsagents on Marigold Close on May 13.
He is also charged with the robbery of 65-year-old Jennifer Legg on May 13.
O’Brien also faces two counts of possessing a bladed article in a public place, on May 9 and 13.
He appeared today at North West Wiltshire Magistrates Court in Chippenham, where he was sent for trial at Swindon Crown Court on Friday June 6.
He did not ask for bail and was remanded in custody.
