FA CUP: Bluebirds must travel in first round qualifying

CHIPPENHAM Town will travel for their first round qualifying tie in next season's FA Cup following today's draws.

Mark Collier's men will travel to face one of Sholing, Petersfield Town or Bristol Manor Farm on September 13 after the extra preliminary and preliminary rounds have been completed in August.

Frome Town will host one of Wimborne Town, AFC St Austell or Bishop Sutton in first round qualifying, while a number of Wiltshire sides are involved in the earlier rounds.

In the extra preliminary round on August 16, Pewsey Vale, Bradford Town and Corsham Town all have home ties, against Sherborne Town, Moneyfields and Horndean respectively.

Wootton Bassett Town travel to Brockenhurst and could face Bradford if both get through to the preliminary round, while Melksham Town travel to Longwell Green Sports.

Meanwhile, Chippenham Town and Frome Town will meet in first round qualifying on the FA Trophy on November 1.

FA Cup extra preliminary round (Saturday, August 16): Longwell Green Sports v Melksham Town, Pewsey Vale v Sherborne Town, Brockenhurst v Wootton Bassett Town, Bradford Town v Moneyfields, Corsham Town v Horndean.

Preliminary round (Saturday, August 30): Alresford Town or Christchurch v Pewsey Vale or Sherborne Town, Romsey Town or Fareham Town v Longwell Green Sports or Melksham Town, Cinderford Town v Corsham Town or Horndean, Bradford Town or Moneyfields v Brockenhurst or Wootton Bassett Town.

First round qualifying (Satrday, September 13): Bitton or Blackfield & Langley or Bridport or Highworth Town v Alresford Town or Christchurch or Pewsey Vale or Sherborne Town; Cinderford Town or Corsham Town or Horndean v Newport (IW) or Hamworthy United or Winterbourne United or Hythe & Dibden; Sholing or Petersfield Town or Bristol Manor Farm v Chippenham Town; Poole Town v Bradford Town or Moneyfields or Brockenhurst or Wootton Bassett Town; Frome Town v Wimborne Town or AFC St Austell or Bishop Sutton.
