A TEENAGER who is said to have carried out a serious assault on a woman has been bailed.

Phillip Highlands is accused of unlawful wounding in connection with an alleged incident on Sunday, February 16.

No charge was formally put to the 19-year-old, of Fairford, when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court and he did not enter a plea.

Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to Friday, October 17, and released him on bail until then.
