A JUDGE remanded two men in custody after they appeared before him accused of trafficking a woman into the country for sexual exploitation.
Jacek Sokolowski and Tomasz Slabaszewski appeared at Swindon Crown Court on Friday and denied several allegations which were put to them through a Polish interpreter.
Sokolowski, 42, of Ascham Road, Grange Park, pleaded not guilty to trafficking for sexual exploitation, false imprisonment, causing or inciting prostitution for gain, rape and assault by beating.
Slabaszewski, 31, of Whitworth Road, Pinehurst, denied trafficking for sexual exploitation, false imprisonment, causing or inciting prostitution for gain and five counts of rape.
Judge Lester Boothman remanded the men in custody and adjourned the case to January 11, when they will face trial.
