PAUL Shanley thinks that his Bradford Town side have their mojo back after their ruthless demolition of county rivals Devizes last weekend.

The Bradford manager demanding an improvement from his team after their disappointing defeat to Hengrove Athletic last month and they turned in a rampant display to win 7-1.

“We were very critical of them a few weeks ago but they’ve responded the right way and you can see the confidence flowing through them again,” said Shanley.

“All four of our strikers scored, which was great to see, and everything just came together on the day – the game could have gone either way but on the day, we could have got to double figures.”

Sam Jordan gave Bradford an early lead before Devizes equalised while Adam Heath’s penalty against his old club and Nick Ridout’s header gave the hosts a 3-1 lead at half-time.

Heath and Ridout both got their second of the match as the visitors were taken to pieces in the second half while Matt Minnis also ended the afternoon with a brace.

Bradford’s trip to Street on Tuesday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch and Shanley’s side are in action in the Wiltshire Senior Cup tomorrow at home to Wiltshire League Southbrook.

Matt Jenkins made his Bradford debut last weekend after joining from Corsham Town while Ollie Webb could make his first appearance against Southbrook.
