NIGHTINGALES Squash Club are celebrating a successful return to the Wiltshire Leagues, with their first team winning Division One and the second string gaining promotion into Division Three.
And on Monday night, the University of Bath took a team of players to Nightingales, ranging from county to club level, to help raise the profile of the sport in Wiltshire.
Inspired by the work done by current Wiltshire squash champion Paul Clark, squash is seeing a rapid regeneration at Nightingales.
This includes recently hosting a successful England Masters tournemount, as well as establishing links with a number of local schools under Clark's guidance as a squash coach.
Nightingales are hosting the Wiltshire Closed Championships on the weekend of January 19 and 20, and for more information about squash throughout the area, visit their website: www.wiltsquash.co.uk.
