A GOAL five minutes from time by Brimscombe & Thrupp substitute Karl Nash denied Wootton Bassett Town a place in the Hellenic League's Supplementary Cup final tonight.
Bassett, who have not won a trophy for 13 years, will have to wait again after Nash netted with his first touch.
Jeff Roberts' men were unable to make the most of their man advantage after Brimscombe forward Joe Tustain was red-carded for foul and abusive language before half time.
Goalkeeper Steve Allison kept Bassett in it with a couple of saves but they too were reduced to ten men when Kyle Ridley was dismissed for dissent.
