CHAIRMAN Shaun Moffat hopes the return of Paul Thompson will turn around Devizes’ stuttering season after a duo of defeats in the past week.
The former boss was appointed joint manager, alongside Kevin Whitbread, after Monday’s 5-1 defeat at Hengrove Athletic, leaving his post as assistant at Calne.
“Results aren’t going that well due to a lot of things,” said Moffat. “Injuries, players working away and things like that.
“It’s a fresh face, all the lads know Thommo and he has a lot of contacts which hopefully he can bring to Devizes.”
